I believe our community is at a crossroads and we need new leadership now more than ever. As a mother of two young kids, I want to make sure that they have a bright and strong future- and that means City leaders must set new priorities that promote a better quality of life.I am running because I want to make sure that my kids are able to enjoy Miami Beach like I enjoyed Miami Beach when I was growing up here.
As a long-time resident who loves Miami Beach, I am excited to embark on this new chapter in my life. I grew up in Mid-Beach, worked for many years on South Beach, and now live in North Beach. I am eager to meet with my fellow residents so they get to know me, my vision for our community and the ideas I have that will move Miami Beach forward!
We know that the community we love continues to face tough challenges. From out of control street flooding to a shortage of parking and an outdated convention center, Miami Beach needs bold leadership that brings real solutions to these mounting problems. More importantly, City Hall needs an aggressive approach to rid the corruption that has troubled our city government.
As a graduate of Miami Beach Senior High School, I know the value of having quality local schools. That is why I believe we need city leaders working in partnership with our school Superintendent and School Board members to strengthen our education system and ensure that we are making smart investments to grow opportunities for our children. There is no question that investing in our children’s education will bring smart returns to our community.
It’s time that you had a leader advancing the priorities of Miami Beach families and focused on real solutions that move our community forward. I hope to gain your trust so I can earn your vote.
